When you stop doing it all alone,
you can finally be met.
Held by women, this 3-month journey helps men move from isolation, pleasing, and performance into brotherhood, embodiment, and heart-led connection.
A New Fellowship begins:
September 02
You became what was needed.
Now it is time to return to what is true.
This is for you if…
You live in your head more than you want to admit
You long to connect with like-minded men beyond surface-level conversation
You often keep the peace and leave yourself out
Intimacy pulls you into pleasing, performing, or shutting down
You are tired of carrying everything alone
You want more truth, more aliveness, and more brotherhood in your life
You know there is more available in you than the version that keeps adapting.
You do not need to have it all figured out before you join.
You only need to be honest about wanting something deeper.
Many men have learned to carry too much alone.
Longing.
Pressure.
Doubt.
Desire.
Shame.
The need for touch, support, and emotional safety.
And often, all of that gets placed onto one woman.
That is too much weight for one relationship to hold.
The Fellowship offers something many men have never truly had:
a place with other men where they do not have to perform, compete, or pretend.
A place to be seen.
To be met.
To be challenged.
To belong.
Because when shame is shared, it begins to lose its grip.
When a man sees he is not the only one, something in him can finally relax.
And when men learn to be real with each other, they often become softer with themselves too.
More open. More accepting. Less alone.
That is part of the medicine of brotherhood.
It does not only change how you relate to other men.
It changes how you relate to yourself.
And from there, how you love, connect, and let yourself be known.
In ancient temple traditions, women held space for men returning from battle, helping them land back in their bodies before re-entering the village.
Why this brotherhood is held by women
Most men’s groups are led by men. This one is held by women, and that is intentional.
Many men have learned to armor themselves, to perform, please, or shut down in relationship to the feminine. This work invites that armor to soften.
Because intimacy is relational, part of what men receive here is the presence of the feminine, not to perform for, but to be witnessed by, met by, and receive honest reflection from.
And because this happens in brotherhood, with other men beside them, they are not carrying that alone.
This journey is held by me, Denise, together with my co-facilitator Tera, a sensitive guide, Kundalini Yoga teacher, and experienced spaceholder for men.
Together, we hold a grounded, heart-led space that supports men back into presence, vulnerability, and truth.
What we actually do
Across 6 evenings, you are guided through a body-based journey that helps you move from overthinking, pleasing, and performing into more truth, presence, and connection.
We work with:
Nervous system regulation
Emotional expression
Shame and fear around intimacy
Brotherhood and co-regulation
Inner child and shadow work
Embodied consent and relational practice
Ritual, reflection, and integration
This is not about endlessly talking about change.
It is about practicing it in real time, in your body, with other men beside you.
You will be invited into guided exercises, reflection, sharing, and real-time experiences that help you feel what is true, stay with yourself, and express more of who you are.
You will never be asked to do anything you do not want to do.
This work is invitational, not performative. You are always in choice.
You do not have to touch anyone, share everything, or push past your boundaries to belong here.
In fact, learning to feel and honor your own boundaries is part of the work.
Your needs were never the problem.
The invitation is learning to receive love in all the forms it wants to come in.
Over three months, you’ll move through six stages.
Each one opens a different layer of the man you are becoming.
Stage 1: The Call to Presence
The Awakening Heart — reclaiming sensation and inner awareness
You begin by slowing down and coming back into the body.
This is where sensation returns, awareness deepens, and the first honest contact with yourself begins.
You start to feel what has been there all along, underneath the noise.
Stage 2: The Trial of Truth
Meeting the wound — breaking through old conditioning
Here you begin to meet the patterns that shaped you.
The pleasing. The silence. The overcontrol. The fear of being too much or not enough.
This stage invites you to see clearly what has been running your intimacy from the background.
Stage 3: The Rite of Connection
Brotherhood — learning to be met by other men
This is where the walls begin to soften in relationship.
You practice being seen, supported, and challenged by other men without needing to perform.
Brotherhood becomes something you can feel in your body, not just long for in theory.
Stage 4: The King's Reckoning
Integrating the feminine — surrendering to embodied truth
Here you meet deeper layers of feeling, softness, vulnerability, and inner honesty.
You begin to relate differently to the feminine, not through control or collapse, but through presence.
This is where strength and sensitivity start to belong together.
Stage 5: The Temple
The embodied initiation — a Temple Night of sacred practice
This stage is a Temple Night, where we invite women / priestesses into the space for practice and sacred relational experience.
It is a guided, heart-led space to explore intimacy, presence, polarity, vulnerability, and connection in real time, with support, structure, and consent.
This is where what you have been learning begins to live in the body.
Not as theory. But as a deeper embodied experience of truth, connection, and aliveness.
Stage 6: The Sovereign’s Return
Heart-led leadership — living what you have remembered
This final stage is about integration.
You reflect on what has changed and begin to carry it into your relationships, your choices, and the way you move through life.
More grounded. More honest. More fully here.
What You’ll Walk Away With
A deeper connection to your body, emotions, and desire
More self-love, self-compassion, and inner peace
More honesty around what you feel, need, and want
Less shame and more freedom to be real
Tools to stay present with fear, intensity, and vulnerability
The lived experience of brotherhood and not doing it all alone
More confidence rooted in presence instead of performance
More openness, safety, and depth in intimacy and connection
You do not leave this journey as a perfected man.
You leave with more of yourself available, and more peace in being who you are.

About Denise & Tera
The Fellowship of the Heart is held by Denise Kooij and Tera.
Denise is an Intimacy and Embodiment Coach for men. She works with men who are done pleasing, performing, and trying to earn love by leaving themselves out, and who are ready to return to their body, their truth, and a more honest way of relating.
Her work is body-based, trauma-aware, and rooted in nervous system regulation, emotional honesty, relational practice, and embodied intimacy. She meets men with warmth, depth, and clear reflection, guiding them back to what is already there beneath the armor, the overthinking, and the adaptation.
Tera is a sensitive guide, Kundalini Yoga teacher, and experienced spaceholder for men. She brings softness, presence, and deep attunement to the field, helping create a space where men can slow down, feel, and let themselves be met in a different way.
Together, Denise and Tera hold a grounded, heart-led container that supports men into more presence, vulnerability, truth, and embodied connection.
For many men, being met in this process by grounded feminine presence becomes part of the shift itself. The body no longer has to perform. It can begin to feel, trust, and open.
This is a 3-month journey into truth, brotherhood, and embodied presence.
If something in you knows it is time to stop doing this alone, you are welcome.
